Itinerary

Day 1: Kigali – Volcanoes National Park

Upon arrival in Kigali, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide. After a brief briefing, you will embark on a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Volcanoes National Park. Check in at Five Volcanoes Boutique Lodge and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing or enjoying lodge amenities. Dinner and overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique Lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking – Volcanoes National Park

After an early breakfast, transfer to the Kinigi park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines. You will then begin your trek through lush forests to meet the mountain gorillas. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique Lodge.

Day 3: Second Gorilla Trekking Experience

Day 4: Volcanoes NP – Nyungwe National Park (6–7 hours scenic drive)

After breakfast, depart for Nyungwe National Park on a scenic road trip through Rwanda’s rolling hills, tea plantations, and lakeside views. Upon arrival, check in at Mantis Marina Bay and spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Mantis Marina Bay.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking & Canopy Walk – Nyungwe National Park

Depart early for an exciting chimpanzee tracking adventure in Nyungwe Forest. After the trek, proceed to the famous Nyungwe Canopy Walkway, offering breathtaking views above the rainforest. Afternoon at leisure to relax or enjoy lodge activities. Dinner and overnight at Mantis Marina Bay.

Day 6: Nyungwe – Kigali & Departure
