Day 1: Arrival – Entebbe (10 min drive)
you will be met by our safaris representative and transferred to your hotel (10 min). Check in at Protea Hotel Entebbe. Depending on your flight time, optional afternoon visit to the Botanical Gardens followed by a sunset cruise on Lake Victoria with drinks and snacks included. Dinner and overnight at Protea Hotel Entebbe – Deluxe room (B)
Day 2: Entebbe – Kibale Forest National Park (flight time 1h 15min)
Early transfer to Entebbe airport for your scheduled flight to Kasese Airstrip (07:00 or 12:30 departure). On arrival you will be met by your driver-guide and transferred 1h 30min to Primate Lodge. Check in, enjoy lunch and relax. Late afternoon/early evening enjoy a guided nocturnal forest walk to see the creatures of the night such as bush babies, potto and the rare nocturnal birds. Day 3: Kibale Forest NP – Chimpanzee Habituation Experience
Chimpanzee Habituation Experience. You will walk or drive to the trailhead for the start of an unforgettable adventure – spending the entire day with the chimpanzees as they wake up, feed, play, groom, hunt and rest. Follow them from their night nests until they build new ones in the evening – a rare privilege! Return to the lodge for a late lunch. In the evening enjoy a guided nature walk through the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary (community project rich in birds and monkeys). Dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale – Luxury cottage (B,L,D)
Day 4: Kibale Forest – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (7–8 hrs drive)
Morning transfer to Bwindi via the beautiful Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth NP (famous for tree-climbing lions – game drive en route). Continue through stunning mountain scenery to Bwindi. Check in and enjoy lunch. Late afternoon village walk or relax. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs Lodge – Superior room (B,L,D)
Day 5: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (3–8 hrs trek)
Early breakfast, then transfer to park headquarters for registration and briefing. Begin your gorilla trek – an exhilarating hike through the dense rainforest in search of one of Bwindi’s habituated gorilla families. Spend a magical hour with these gentle giants. Return to the lodge for a well-deserved hot lunch or dinner depending on your trek duration. Afternoon at leisure to relax and enjoy the beautiful lodge grounds. Day 6: Bwindi Impenetrable NP – Entebbe & Departure
After a leisurely breakfast, transfer to Kihihi airstrip (about 1 hour) for your domestic flight back to Entebbe (depart around 09:25–11:00, arrive Entebbe approx. 12:00–13:30). On arrival you will be met and transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your outbound international flight (or day-room can be arranged if required). Meal plan: (B)
